Want to learn how to foster or adopt, or looking to connect with other foster/adoptive parents?

Our God is “Father to the fatherless” (Psalm 68:5), and He commands his church to care for widows and orphans (James 1:27). Our Foster & Adopt Care exists to serve vulnerable children and at-risk youth, and to wrap around families who choose to follow this command and open their homes to receive the wonderful blessing of loving children who need a stable home.

There are 8,000 kids in foster care in Oregon, with 200 kids ready for adoption.

The Church is the solution to the orphan crises. In partnership with Backyard Orphans, we have joined hundreds of other churches that have launched foster and adoption care ministries around the US. Our goal is to see that someday there are more families waiting on children than children waiting on families.

If you feel God calling you to serve families who foster or adopt, or you may want to foster or adopt yourself, we want to help you with those next steps.

Teen Reach

Youth in foster care bounce from home to home, abused, abandoned, or neglected. Angry and afraid, they are starved for love and acceptance. Many end up on the streets, pregnant, or incarcerated when they age out.

But we can be a part of the solution. Together, we can provide hope to at-risk youth.

Teen Reach Adventure Camps (T.R.A.C. Aloha) are three-day camps located in Scio, Oregon, designed for youth ages 12-15 primarily residing in foster care in the Portland Metro. Campers will experience the outdoors while learning teamwork and participating in activities like canoeing, swimming, archery, and crafts that improve trust and self-value and create lifelong memories. They learn about how much God loves and cares for them.

Thank you for stepping up to help Oregon’s vulnerable children and at-risk youth!
